Following the announcement that Tom Gresham's Gun Talk radio was being added to the lineup at Sirius satellite radio, the network decided to run all three hours of the show, and to move it to a more favorable time slot.
NOTE THE NEW CHANNELS & TIME -- Beginning this Sunday, Gun Talk will run on "Sirius Too," which is on Sirius channel 108 and XM channel 139, from 7:00pm until 10:00pm Eastern. This means that listeners on the West Coast can hear the program at 4:00pm.

DON'T WASTE AMMO!
In addition to thinking he was irresponsible, what would you think of a hunter who shoots at every movement, every sound, gets rattled at the slightest suggestion that something is going on? You'd think he was wasteful, at the least, and at the worst, just plain dangerous.
That's what I'm seeing right now with gun owners and their reaction to all the emails pounding in-boxes. Yes, yes, yes, I've seen HR 45, the terrible bill that would take away guns, register your chickens, and require cats and dogs to live together (with apologies to Bill Murray). Please take a deep breath.
Millions of emails have been traded on this, and it's largely wasted effort. This bill is not going anywhere. I repeat, this bill is DOA.
Stop forwarding emails about it to everyone, please. Every year there are many terrible gun control bills introduced which don't go anywhere. This is another one. While it's great that so many people are getting worked up about this -- it shows there is much passion for gun rights -- we also are wasting our "ammo" on a target which is no more than smoke.
What's the problem with sounding the alarm? You can motivate people to action only so many times before they think you are crying wolf. There are certainly going to be some nasty fights to protect gun rights, but this is not one of them. Let's keep our powder dry, saving it for threats which have a better chance of succeeding...click here to read the full article.
Why aren't the gun companies doing anything?

SECOND AMENDMENT MARCH
The web site for the Second Amendment March (SAM) is back up after a breakdown caused by so many people visiting. The forum (bulletin board) is now up, too. This has the potential to be a powerful force for gun rights, and it could stretch far into the future if we take full advantage of it.
That means we have to include everyone who supports the Second Amendment. This includes liberals, democrats, gays, pro-life, pro-choice, vegans, Vulcans, right wingers, left wingers, middle wingers, white, black, brown, yellow, purple, men, women, children, and anyone else who supports the right to keep and bear arms.
Millions of people who voted for President Obama for other reasons would support the Second Amendment March, but not if it turns into an Obama bashing. We must focus our aim on the target and not get distracted by other issues. You and I might differ on the death penalty, but we'll have to agree to put that aside. We can not afford to turn away support from any quarter.

THIS AND THAT FROM TOM
Ruger's polymer revolver is cool. Called the LCR, for Lightweight Compact Revolver, it's a five-shot .38 special. We just finished shooting video of it for Gun Talk TV. Watch the site for that, and a dozen more with neat Ruger guns...coming soon.
Smith & Wesson's model 442 revolver which commemorates the landmark gun rights case, D.C. vs. Heller, is still available. Any gun store can order it. I took this idea to S&W, and they agreed to donate part of the proceeds from it to the Second Amendment Foundation. Nice looking revolver, and a part of history...Click Here to read the full article.

FILL OUT THE GUN TALK SURVEY
We'd like to know more about our listeners and in order to do that, we've created a survey on guntalk.com. Just click HERE to take our very short survey (it's only 7 questions). Each month we'll select one person who took the survey to receive a prize from Tom Gresham's Gun Room. This is just a small thank you for your help - it could be a holster, a hat, ammo - we won't know until we rummage around in there. Take a minute and tell us a little about yourself!

NEW GUN TALK TV VIDEOS
If you haven't been there recently, you haven't seen the new videos we have loaded to Gun Talk TV. I particularly like the ones we shot with Keith Houghton at Ringneck Ranch in Kansas. Keith and the folks there are great. Wonderful facility, great food, and the cover last year was incredible. Ryan (my son) talked with Keith about the things you need to know when you come to a hunting preserve, and we got some wonderful footage of that beautiful part of the country.
If you are looking for a great place to hunt pheasants next fall, where every day is like opening day, consider Ringneck Ranch. http://www.ringneckranch.net/.

iTUNES
Each three-hour weekly show is uploaded to the internet soon after the live broadcast on Sunday afternoons. Once that is done, listeners can download the shows directly from the link on www.guntalk.com, or than can listen realtime from the iTunes store. Even easier, though, is the free subscription to the podcast (archived shows). This can be done through a PC or a Mac through the Gun Talk web site or through iTunes.
A search on iTunes for "Tom Gresham" pulls up the Gun Talk podcast for a quick download, or to subscribe -- that sets up the computer to automatically download the show each week.
